Same answer. Check the link in the post just above yours.
I Am having the same problem! I have literally tried everything it says to do on the Internet. It connects and disconnects throughout the day on different wifis too. I am getting through my monthly data within a week or so because it'll be on wifi for half hour or so then disconnect to 3G/4G. I took it into the EE shop yesterday and he said its a problem with the new iOS update! So he said the only thing I can do is wait for the new update and hope it fixes it!!
No one that I know of has experienced Wi-Fi disconnection problems, and there is nothing wrong with the iOS dealing with Wi-Fi that is going to be corrected by another update. Wi-Fi issues are generally device specific, and can be traced to either the individual device, or the Wi-Fi network in use. Not knowing what these cures you tried from the internet, I can offer you this support document to troubleshoot your Wi-Fi. After that, rather than going to a cellular provider, I suggest you make an appointment at the Genius Bar of the nearest Apple store to have them examine your hardware to check for any issues. EE is not qualified to determine iOS issues.
It disconnects me from whatever wifi I am connected to, my home one, work one etc.. I went into EE as I do not have an apple store near me and he reset my networks and did a few different things and he said when you search it,it looks like a fault with the new update? So he said all I can do is wait for the next update and hope it gets fixed
I'm guessing the "search" you refer to is them searching the internet? If you have an issue with the device, there are specific user troubleshooting steps that can be carrier out before it is necessary to make a trip to the Apple Store Genius Bar. The first being the link that was provided earlier. The other user troubleshooting steps are restart, reset, restore from backup, restore to factory, testing after each step. If you restore to factory and then test without adding any additional content and you still experience a problem, then you need to make an appointment at the Genius Bar of the nearest Apple Store to have the hardware examined.
Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
Restore your device from an iCloud or iTunes backup - Apple Support
Thats the link I tried before I went to EE store. I have restarted my phone but have not done a factory reset as I do not want to lose everything on my phone? Also I do not live near an Apple Store.
