how can i install my microsoft livecamvx-300 in my new mini mac

Im new to Apple, how do i install my old Microsoft livecam vx-3000 in my new mac mini. any help would be great so i cam get on Facetime. Thank you.

Assuming that is an old webcam then if when you connect it and open PhotoBooth the camera does not work then it is not compatible. Many PC webcams are not compatible with a mac, especially older ones.

my usb logitech is listed as facetime cam option without installing special logitech software think in most cases the driver is generic
