Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. I understand AirDrop isn't working from your iPhone to the Mac.
Having Bluetooth and Wi-Fi on are required for AirDrop, so that's a good start. I gather they are both on the same Wi-Fi network.
With iOS 8 (or later), you can share with Mac computers with OS X Yosemite (or later). AirDrop transfers information using Wi-Fi and Bluetooth—both must be turned on. To use AirDrop, you need to be signed in to iCloud using your Apple ID. Transfers are encrypted for security.
