    Hi KettleKornButterCream,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.  I understand AirDrop isn't working from your iPhone to the Mac.

Having Bluetooth and Wi-Fi on are required for AirDrop, so that's a good start. I gather they are both on the same Wi-Fi network.

With iOS 8 (or later), you can share with Mac computers with OS X Yosemite (or later). AirDrop transfers information using Wi-Fi and Bluetooth—both must be turned on. To use AirDrop, you need to be signed in to iCloud using your Apple ID. Transfers are encrypted for security.

Share screen shows photos to select and share along the top. In the next row are images of nearby friends you can share with using AirDrop. The next row shows options for sharing. Other actions, such as Copy, Print, Slideshow, and AirPlay, appear along the bottom

Share an item using AirDrop. Tap the action button, then tap the name of a nearby AirDrop user.

Further details are in this article.  Although it's titled, "Use AirDrop to send content from your Mac" it also has information on receiving to the Mac spread througout.
