Can I (batch) transcode PROXY files straight from the timeline ?

Hi, I work with Proxy files, so once in a while when I finish a project, I delete them.

I often need to go back to old edits and of course all the proxies are missing. Is there a way to select a chunk of files from the timeline and batch transcode them?

Often these file may be spread over many Events, so it would be hugely time consuming to select individual clips from old events.

Thanks

No, you can't transcode from the timeline; it needs to be done from the Browser or during the import process, What you could do is use the search tool at the upper right if the Browser and do a library search of your used clips. Select those and transcode to Proxy.
