I did this, copied my iTunes folder from iMac to Macbook Pro according to the tutorial below, and my playlists are not showing on my Macbook. My iMac has been reformatted since... That was my mistake, reformatting before I saw that my playlists were not on my Macbook... Is there any way to get my playlists?

You probably did not place the folder in the normal location inside of Music.  Start iTunes while holding down the option/alt key and navigate to the iTunes Library.itl file in the folder you moved.

Thanks, Limnos! I got my playlists back as of October 2014, which was the most recent library that worked... So, I'm happy to have all of those, and might keep trying to get the more recent playlists, and might give up ; )
