Delete recovered email messages

I recovered a sent message from my Time Machine. Now there is a new mail folder and a number number of new mail boxes. I deleted all the messages in the mailboxes but can't delete them. It also looks like it recovers the email at least daily. I saw many solutions to this but all are old, at least two years and don't seem to apply to my system. Newer Mac at 10.10.5

This is what it looks like;
