Q: Why did you remove the Radio option from the AppleTV Music app in this new update?

Am I the only one not thrilled, actually completely disappointed, that the Radio part of the Music app has been removed? What was the point of this?

iMac, Mac OS X (10.6.8)

We wouldn't know, since we are just users like you. Send your feedback to Apple: Apple - Feedback. They don't respond individually to feedback, but they do read it.

    Best of luck,

Dear Lord, not even sure what the point of that was; here's the immediate "response" after submitting my question on the feedback link you kindly provided:

Thank you for your feedback on Apple TV.

We cannot respond to you personally, but please know that your message has been received and will be reviewed by the Apple TV Team. If we need to follow up with you on your ideas for improving the Apple TV, we will contact you directly.

Gail told you they would not respond, but they read the feedback, which is exactly what it is telling you there. Either way, Apple had announced sometime back they were discontinuing the service. You can read about it here. http://www.macrumors.com/2016/01/29/apple-ceases-free-itunes-radio/

Well I will be unsubscribing from iTunes Match then, possibly giving this AppleTV away and getting a Roku. The radio option was really the only reason I was paying for iTunes Match since I can play all of my music off my external hard drive anyway. Them taking away the Radio perk just cost them a customer. Very crappy move on the part of Apple. By all the replies under the link you posted, apparently I will not be the only one unsubscribing so they're losing LOTS of customers who were gladly paying for match to use the radio part of the app.

Hopefully, you included that information in your feedback. You should certainly use the device that best suits your needs. I have both a Roku and an Apple TV (you're allowed to have both, by the way). By and large, I prefer the Apple TV.
