Jan 29, 2016 12:04 PM in response to MattMcHackitby my ginger,I have not seen where this is possible. It's not just a matter of screen resolution but also of the video graphics card installed on the logic board. Which cannot be changed.

Jan 30, 2016 3:48 AM in response to my gingerby MattMcHackit,The model I have features the Nvidia 320M chipset, which can handle external displays up to 2560 x 1600. I'm working on the assumption that this means higher resolution integrated panels might work, provided they physically fit and use the same connection interface. I'm just not sure whether such panels even exist. All I've been able to determine is that the OEM display has a 30 pin connector.

Your assumption is wrong. If you doubt my response, go to a genius bar and ask the technician.
Replace the display with one that is exactly the same as it came with. Otherwise you are 'on a fools errand'.
Ciao.
