ICloud Photo Storage Q

ICloud question: Uploaded pics off my iphone to icloud. Want to delete all from iphone but making sure they will stay on icloud even if deleted off of my phone.

iCloud Photo Library FAQ - Apple Support

Suggest you do this Import photos and videos from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch to your computer - Apple Support then copy the pics to thumb drive/cd or external hard drive.

razmee209 has given you good guidance, but just so that you know..... Assuming you are using iCloud Photo Library, you cannot upload photos to iCloud and then delete them from the phone, it does not work that way. If you delete them from the phone, they will be deleted from iCloud as well as all other devices.

If I upload my photos and videos to a shared photo album, do I have to keep them on my phone?
