iMessage is not activated on mac

Suddenly, after updating to OS X El Capitan, I can't activate my iMessage account on the mac. All of my other devices are fine, and iMessage is working.

How can I solve this problem?

iMac, OS X El Capitan (10.11.3)

Hi,

Do you mean that you cannot change the tick or lack of one in the box for "Enable this Account" ?

IN the Receive At list is there at least one ID or iPhone Number ticked ?

If there are more then one is there a "Start Conversation From" Drop Down at the bottom of the pane ?

IF you use the Apple icon Menu top Left > About this Mac can you see the Serial Number listed ?

I don't know what happened exactly, but when I changed the language of my mac to English to take some screenshots for you, the problem have gone. I changed the language again to Arabic, and the problem didn't come back.

My problem was just about the dis activation of my Apple ID to use iMessage. I couldn't send or receive any message from the account. But I was able to send and receive sms after linking my mac to my iPhone.

Thank you guys anyway!
