AndroidAuto is to Android phones what CarPlay is to Apple phones.

For an app to comply with AndroidAuto it has to provide certain API calls that allow AndroidAuto to get data (artist lists, album information) from that app and display it within the AndroidAuto music context.

So, does Apple provide this information in their music app ?

That is a question that needs to be provided by Apple.
