Mar 27, 2016 11:04 PM in response to ingsaracenoby John Mower,AN earlier post suggested using Safe Browser app as an alternative to Safari. This has worked perfectly for me for three days. Is there any way this can be added to the browser options in Safari?

Mar 28, 2016 12:13 AM in response to Dreexby oldy111,I've got this problem on both, iPhone 6s and iPad air 2. This is very anoying. The only way to work with this devices is, to use Google Chrome and hold down a link for a longer period and open a new tab.
I'm also upset, because of the behaviour of Apple. No official statement, no timeline when the issue will be fixed.

Mar 28, 2016 12:50 AM in response to Astroid44by glozanomoran,We have already confirmed that a restore to iOS 9.2.1 works and that you can even upgrade to iOS 9.3 but this is NOT an option because then you have a clean install and then what? It is not only the booking.com app that is causing this issue so now you have a very expensive internet browser device.
It would be great if at this point we could keep this thread only open for fixes and workarounds instead of having hundreds of pages full of posts of people saying that they have the same issue.

Mar 28, 2016 12:54 AM in response to Mrs C Spainby pherrey,Exactly the same started happening to me on both my iPad 2 air and iPhone 6S since around 20 Feb, so before 9.3 was launched. Have spent hours with Apple Support, uploaded crash reports to their technicians who could not detect the fault. I reinstalled as a new iPad and loaded apps back manually and the problem still came back after a few hours!! So must be something that is linked to the device id and some of the apps I have...

Mar 28, 2016 1:37 AM in response to Scott_Tby StephanJC,Hi Scott, folks,
yes, someone is rolling in the grave .
In the meatime some of you are doing research on the problem. I got booking.com too, if I wanted to remove it i would have to delete the app, do a full backup (iTunes) and restore everything. A job for a day, because there is a lot of data on my iPad and apps which have to be configured after a restore. So that does not make sense for me. And it might be that the booking app has been created with some development kit other apps are created with as well. So there may be (many) more apps causing the bug. My iPhone has the booking app as well and is still working without any problem.
Conclusion, Apple staff do your job, and do it now!
The heavily increasing number of posts here shows that on many (if not all) devices some time bomb is waiting. Since I am responsible for a heap of devices used by the staff of the company I work for, I am really fearing the first messages from them telling me the problem has arrived on their iPads and iPhones as well.
Some reports on the bug are showing on different websites now, hope that helps, although some are reducing it to an(other) update problem of 9.3 which is not the case.
Again, I hope Apple is waking up now!
Stephan
