Telstra Sierra 4G wireless dongle not working with El Capitan

I use a Telstra Sierra 4G wireless dongle with my Mac Air/El Capitan 10.11.4 beta. The dongle stopped connecting last week; still fine on a PC. Telstra told me "not their problem" and to contact Apple. Any suggestions as to where I can find a software patch or other workaround? Thanks

MacBook Air, OS X El Capitan (10.11.3)

Due to the terms of this open support community, and those of your El Capitan (10.11.4) beta, we cannot provide assistance to you here. When you signed up for that beta, you were given an explicit link to a beta support website. Use that.

Telco dongles often install kernel drivers that may not be compatible with OS X. That may be doubly true for a beta of OS X.
