I Am trying to connect my iPad to a Canon Pixma MG2450 printer via the online setup but it does not work. It says, in this case, to use the 'dmg' download but I am unable to find this file. Can anyone advise me? Thanks.

dmg files are OS X install packets not ios
with ios the printer has to support apples generic printing framework called AirPrint About AirPrint - Apple Support
or you have to install a printing app from app store which support the printer
