Feb 3, 2016 7:02 PM in response to Hwydogby panoga3.0,★HelpfulApole removed iTunes Radio, they also removed beats as everything transferred to Apple Music. My issue which seems similar is why wasn't it replaced with Apple Music on the Apple TV gen 3, I'm a paid subscriber to Apple Music, sometimes I just want to listen to the music I subscribe to pay for through my apple account on all my Apple devices. If I'm already paying $16 a month for a subscription, and already have an Apple TV (gen 3), why should I be required to go spend money on a (gen 4)Apple TV? If apple is going to take away iTunes Radio, they need to replace it with Apple Music for paid subscribers on all the supported devices, and gen 3 of Apple TV should be supported. My Roku doesn't require me to buy new hardware, and Pandora is still available on Roku, so on top of a monthly subscription I need to go buy the newest Apple TV to be Apple to get a channel I already pay for?

Feb 3, 2016 7:02 PM in response to panoga3.0by Sharpie7982,★HelpfulI just found out today that I have the same problem. I pay for the monthly Apple Music subscription, but can't access it on my gen 3 Apple TV. Not cool! Hopefully, there will be an update shortly.

Feb 3, 2016 5:39 PM in response to Hwydogby sobiloff,I used to listen to Apple Music a lot through my 3rd Gen Apple TV, and I've been going mad trying to figure out why I couldn't see it any longer! Restarted the Apple TV, logged-out and logged back in to my iCloud and iTunes Store accounts, but nada. I double-checked that my payment for Apple Music had processed just fine.
Apple just dropped it?! That's ridiculous!

Feb 5, 2016 5:58 PM in response to Hwydogby gb359,Yes - just discovered this as well - this is a very poor effort by Apple and hope it is an oversight. I am also a paid subscriber to Apple Music and expect that I will have access to those features on supported devices. The Apple TV 3rd Generation is (or was until a few days ago) a supported device. I hope this is an error and will be rectified promptly.

Feb 7, 2016 7:07 AM in response to panoga3.0by timfromnovi,Thanks for the explanation. I thought I was going crazy as I could not seem to find it on my apple tv. Very irritating to say the least, as I pay for a subscription as well and even iTunes match doesn't seem to work now. Another major irritant is that I can no longer use my apple tv optical output for music which is one thing I really liked. I simply connected it to my amplifier for for digital streaming music. Now I have to go out and buy a network player to get what I used to have already. Very very irritating! Thanks for the explanation. Now I know I am not nuts--Apple is.

Feb 7, 2016 12:43 PM in response to timfromnoviby gb359,I didn't realise that about the optical output, I thought I had a faulty cable or the line in on the device I was connecting to was faulty. Thanks for the alert on that saves me wasting time on that. Definitely some things that need sorting out.
