Apple Music on Apple TV older generations

Hi,

I'm an Apple music subscriber and I have an Apple TV 3. How come I can't get my subscription on the music app? Why do I need to get the new Apple TV this is so frustrating that you guys can't support us. Instead you want to force us to buy the new Apple TV. Now I am considering leaving Apple Music. It should be a no brainier to support music on the older Apple TV for those who just bought the older ATV and are subscibed to Apple Music. Really disappointed in Apple. Will there be support for Apple Music on ATV older generations in the near future?

I'm not aware that the Apple TV 3 was ever sold on the basis you would get Apple Music.

I'm not saying it wouldn't be nice if they did update the software to allow Apple Music (if that is possible even), just that I don't think anyone has a right to expect it.

If you have any suggestions that you think might enhance the Apple TV you can send Apple your feedback here

We use the Apple TV 3 everyday, only for streaming music.

My frustration with Apple is that they terminated the iTunes Music service on the Apple TV 3 and provide no streaming music alternative.

I have no issue with paying for Apple Music if supported on the Apple TV 3.

I will move on to another streaming music service supported on our receiver i.e. Spotify, Pandora, Tune-in .....

I have sent this feedback to Apple
