What is the best iMessage account to use so that I can attach to someone else machine in order to help them? I have Google, Aim, Bonjour and me.com and they are enabled. I am getting the camera in the "Buddies" dialogue box and I put the accounts in another person's machine but we can't connect.

The app is called Messages
One account is called iMessages.
At present this tends to be the most successful.
What it in fact does is use the Screen Sharing App (the same way it invokes FaceTime do do Video Chats)
At both ends go to System Preferences > Sharing and enable the Screen Sharing option for Anyone.
In the App start a iMessages text chat then select Detail top right and then the interlocked rectangles.
The two apps should manage the connection from here.
