I bought myself an early Christmas present in America (new macbook) and notice its started getting a purple line - like a lcd burn on. Can I use the warranty from there in a UK Apple store?

The standard one-year warranty is international. The extended AppleCare may or may not be used in other than the country of purchase. It depends upon the country
Sorry total novice with stuff like this!!!! I purchased in the US and live in the UK it was bought in Nov 15 so can I just rock up in a UK store for them to have a look at under the one-year warranty?
