Adding old device to new account
I opened a new appleID account and want to add my existing ipod shuffle as the device under this account. Can't figure out how??
iPod shuffle
iPods (that are not iPod touch) are not directly linked to your Apple ID. They can be associated with the iTunes library on your computer, but your iTunes library is not the same as your Apple ID. You can just use it. Did you have a more specific question about using the shuffle?

If you did this because your email address changed, you should manage your existing Apple ID (and keep using it) instead of creating a new one. Go here to manage your existing Apple ID
Your Apple ID is how Apple recognizes you are a person and existing customer. If you create a new Apple ID, you are a different person to Apple.
