Q: Apple TV & iTunes Radio Frustration

It is extremely frustrating to spend as much money as I do with Apple company and receive the poor customer care that I, and I'm sure so many others do. In our home we have 1 iMac, 2 Macbook Pros, 1 ipad, 2 iphones (which we are constantly upgrading to the next gerneration), 2 iTouches and 1 Apple TV.  The Apple TV was my reason for contacting Apple for help yesterday. I bought my Apple TV with one of the primary functions being that I use it to play music through while working from home, as I do not have external speakers or a sound system. Upon setting up my Apple TV, I was disappointed to find that Spotify was not an app and that this generation of Apple TV doesn't let you add applications. Understandably (I guess...), Apple only wants its customers streaming their music. Therefore, I reluctantly began using iTunes Radio and fell in love with it. I have been using it, seamlessly, on my Apple TV for at least a year. However, when I went to play it yesterday it had disappeared completely from my Apple TV.  I restarted it and still nothing. I reset it, still nothing. I spoke with support and the representative essentially told me that I was out of luck and that its possible that Apple did an update to my Apple TV generation that removed iTunes radio forever. He then told me there was nothing he could do and that unless I want to airplay it from my computer, that I "May want to check out the Apple TV Generation 4 because it allows you to add apps...I'm not trying to sell you or anything but yeah..." I laughed and thanked him for his time but what I should have said was "I've had my Apple TV 1 year and you want me to go buy a new one? Why, so that in another year from now when Apple comes out with the next generation and want everyone to buy that one, they cancel all of the apps I'm using again and say, but they're on the new one!" As a loyal customer of Apple this is incredibly frustrating. You don't take care of your customers, you take advantage of them.
