I currently use Verizon DSL for my e-mail. I had some photos sent to me via E-mail and tried to forward them to a third party with no success. They got the e-mail message but no photos.

I was talking to someone regarding mail with my mac using 10.3.5 but they said they thought there was a charge for this. Is this true? Does it cost me anything to use the e-mail program that came with my 10.3.5 set up?

I tried to download my Verizon mail to the mac mail and for some reason it wouldn't do it. I could probably figure this out but when I heard there was a charge for mac mail it made me a little standoffish about getting involved with it.

Can anyone shed some light on this? How do I set the mac mail account up? ANY assistance would be appreciated

Thanks
John

You should really be asking your question on the Tiger mail forum.

Use of the Mail application supplied with all versions of OS X is free. However, you will need some sort of a network connection to send or recieve mail, and for that you will presumably pay your ISP.

You may possibly be getting confused with .mac, an extra, chargeable service supplied by Apple which includes email. I don't think you need to use this to retrieve your Verizon mail.
