How do i access and retrieve photos and data from icloud?

Sign into Settings/iCloud and then turn on the various sync switches. On a computer, go to System Preferences/iCloud, sign in, and check the various items to sync.

I did as you suggested: setting/icloud and all my buttons are on for syn, BUT How Do I retrieve the photos? since I have activated another iPhone all the photos I took from my old iPhone were backed up in cloud. I just want to get them back to this Iphone I have now. Please advise.

Are you signed into iCloud using the same Apple ID as before?

Try Settings/iCloud and slide off syncing. Wait a few minutes and then resync.

Have you tried signing out of iCloud and then sign back in?

I'm having the same issue and I've tried everything but I can't retrieve my photos from my old iPhone that were backed up. I can't even get into my iCloud at all. Did u resolve your issue and if so could you tell me how? I'd really like to have my photos so I can save them to new phone or conp

You have to go to Icloud.com to see and download photos and probably documents. There is a cloud with a downward arrow that you click to download items to your device.
