DesktopsYou could arrange to visit the Apple reseller or authorized Apple service provider
to see if they can help diagnose the problem while there still is complementary
coverage while new. Usually 90-days support and a year service; unless one can
purchase an extended AppleCare plan (where available) in your location that will
add more time on the warranty. You'd have to read details as to how they apply:
Mac - AppleCare+ - Apple:
http://www.apple.com/support/products/mac.html
You may see if an SMC reset (system management controller, a power manager)
can help resolve the issues; see the instructions in this Apple Support page.
• Resetting the System Management Controller (SMC) on your Mac - Apple Support
Sometimes, a reset of the NVRAM can help with other symptoms not covered by above.
• How to Reset NVRAM on your Mac - Apple Support
About the battery and charging issues:
• Apps can affect Mac performance, battery runtime, temperature, and fan activity - Apple Support
• About Mac notebook batteries - Apple Support
You may find a locator link from these:
http://www.apple.com/support/country/
- Find an Apple Authorized Service Provider
- Visit an Apple Retail Store
- See all worldwide telephone support numbers
The suggestion to try and resolve this issue through your regional Apple authorized sales/service
provider while new, may be helpful if there happens to be a hardware problem a reset can't resolve.
Good luck in any event...!
