Q: can't get iCloud to change to new apple id on iPhone 6

that only helps for a forgotten password, and if I try to reset password for the deleted apple id it says it doesn't exist.

the new id and password works fine on my macbook pro, but won't translate to my iPhone

where do i sign off the iCloud? it lets me turn off the iCloud drive the iCloud in settings, but to sign back in it it asks for password only with old apple id, so I am stuck and frustrated.
