Jan 30, 2016 6:15 PM in response to ChitlinsCCby hockey2014,Brother MFC-J475DW will print one e-mail but not next, will not print from Pages, prints from web & iPad.
I have deleted the printer & reset the printing system a number of times. It is set up using USB & the printer used to set up wi-fi wireless to Bell.
I have contacted Brother & confirmed the printer is working properly. It will scan & print test page.
I am running OSX 10.9.5, 3.2 GHz, 8 GB memory.

Jan 30, 2016 6:23 PM in response to hockey2014by ChitlinsCC,Were you able to do the failing actions, then it began at some point? If so, what event immediately preceded its onset? Add some software? Upgrade/update? Anything at all that preceded, including environment.
make sure you have the most current driver (2 years old?) > http://support.brother.com/g/b/downloadlist.aspx?c=us&lang=en&prod=mfcj475dw_us_ as&os=132

No error messages displayed. I did attempt to download the latest brother driver. However after I download it I cannot open it. When I click on the icon it want me to download it again?

Spooky. Printer needs a doctor.
After you have read these thoroughly - and done all they suggest, you can safely call Brother back and safely say that you have done your due diligence troubleshooting - stressing the spooky behavior while unattended
