The resource below will provide some basic troubleshooting steps for the built-in camera (also called the iSight or FaceTime camera) on your MacBook. First, make sure there is no protective film over the camera lens. Also, if you are using a case, remove it to test the camera. If the camera does not work with Apple's applications - Chat, FaceTime, Photo Booth, etc. then it may need to physically inspected by an Apple Retail Store or Authorized Apple Service Provider.
Take care,

Feb 2, 2016 6:30 AM in response to judysingsby delarouch,Hi Judy,
My MacBook has no protective film or case at all. I'e tried the Troubleshoot iSight link and teh problem still there.
When I run the Photo Booth, the camera green button kept blinking non stop and nothing happens when I click the red take photo button. I guess I need to bring the MacBook to be physically inspected by an Apple Retail Store guy. Anyway thanks for the help.
Regards
Syed

Thanks for the update. Hopefully the Apple store genius or an Apple Authorized Service provider in your area can resolve this for you.
