Q: Ad-Free iTunes Radio GONE! Need to Replace With Amazon Prime Music?

Just recently Apple removed Ad-Free iTunes Radio from the iTunes Match Subscriber Service. Even though iTunes Match subscribers had paid $24.99 a year for three services; 1) matching music for storage; 2) storage of music in iCloud; 3) Ad-Free iTunes Radio - Apple decided after I paid to renew my service contract, and before I knew of a change of service, to remove one of the three features I paid to use. This of course has led to a gaping hole in iTunes Match. With that said I was wondering how to replace what has been rudely taken away from subscribers. I found in these forums that I could replace my once loved iTunes Radio with Amazon Prime Music. Is there an app that Amazon has submitted or is it available now in the AppleTV App Store? I could not find the app, but I'm trying to find it as this has been said to be a great replacement for my now missing ad-free iTunes Radio. I renewed my iTunes Match in December 2015 and now only see my and others custom radio stations, but cannot play them.

To anyone who may know....?

Any idea about the Amazon Prime Music App? I have that app on my iPhone, ipad, and computers. I just need it for my Apple TV.

No, there is no Amazon music app of any description available. For ad free radio stations you can subscribe to Apple music or any of the other radio apps available from the Apple TV app store.

    Mr. Churchill ;-),

I thank you for your help. I will wait and see if Amazon is able to have an app approved for the Apple TV 4th gen. I did mention why I would never subscribe to Apple Music in my post above but the moderator must've not liked my honesty and edited it out.  To put it more simply I already paid for the ad-free iTunes radio when I paid for my iTunes match so paying again for another service when I have ten months left on my present service is never going to happen. In fact I paid $100 for apples one to one and two months after they announce that's gone. I paid $24.99 for iTunes match and one month later they announce that iTunes radio ad-free is gone.  Both times easily taking my money and having no problem not supplying the service or a partial refund - I'm pretty much holding off on buying subscriptions ever again from Apple.  I really wanted Apple Music but now that I'm $125 in the hole for services that I never were able to receive, well....

But I truly do thank you for your suggestion, but I'll wait and see if there's ever an app like there is on my phone and computer.
