Cannot Enable Ask To Buy

I have three children in Family Sharing, all have their own iCloud Apple ID and we all share the same iTunes Apple ID. I could enable Ask To Buy for two of my children but could not for the third child. Says she is sharing purchases from an account also used by another family member. Ask to Buy can be enabled only on accounts that are not shared. I don't understand why I was able to do for two of my children and not the third??

Hi Canozzie11,

Just to clarify ... I am not suggesting you all share the same iTunes account (Apple ID) as you did in the past to buy from the iTunes Store.

With Family Sharing, only the organizer should use that Apple ID, and everyone else should sign up for Family Sharing using the Apple ID they use for iCloud.

Is it possible that the child that is having the issue with Enable to Buy did not join the family using the iCloud Apple ID?

Take care,
