Can Sims 4 run on Mac Mini?

Hello,

Im planning to buy a mac mini mid-range (2.6ghz). We want to play sims 4 using this computer. We found out in amazon.com that requirements are the following:

RECOMMENDED SPECIFICATION

OS: Mac OS X 10.9 or laterPROCESSOR: Intel Core i5 or betterVIDEO CARD: NVIDIA GTX 650 or betterMEMORY: 8GB RAMHARD DRIVE: 10 GB of Hard Drive space

Os,processor, memory and hard drive of the mac mini - passed/acceptable.However, when it comes to the video card, I have no idea whether it can run or not. I tried researching in the internet, unfortunately I cannot understand the technical mumbo-jumbo.

Please help

Hi,

So as to not bore you with the "technical mumbo-jumbo":

Both low-range and mid-range Mac Minis will run fine on the graphics side, though not best, because macs are not envisioned to be game machines.

Indeed, your best bet is to go for the mid-range Mac Mini for all the other specs, if you're ok for waiting the usual waiting time for the app to load. If you want much faster load times, you should (if your budget allows it) go additionally for the fusion drive option, as it will increase as well the global longevity of your machine in terms of speed.

Cheers

James
