No, the new iMac models do not have the ability to act as a display. Use your iMac as a display with Target Display Mode - Apple Support

Well actually you can, however you need to get additional hardware. I would recommend using an Elgato connection depending on the service you want. You can visit them at https://www.elgato.com/en/eyetv

FWIW, As near as I can tell no one makes a ATSC tuner for the US market. I do have FIOS TV and if you order it you can watch a very limited selection of the channels available through Verizon's website. On the other hand, they have the FIOS Mobile app which allows you to watch every channel that you subscribe to on an iPad or iPhone.

You really need to contact Verizon.

Does this have the appropriate secure card slot to decode the Verizon FiOS signal? If not, the OP would still need the set top box from Verizon.

FWIW, none of the Elgato tumers are available in the US anymore as I mentioned. Go to any page and you will see a "Product not available in the U.S. message. They used to be. Not anymore.

If you could find a used Elgato (or others) tuner on eBay or Craigslist that was made for the U.S. market, you should be able to connect a Verizon set top Box to it. It HAS to be for the U.S. market otherwise it won't work.

Sorry I thought they were still available in the USA.
