iMessage and FaceTime will not work on my iPad mini?

Resetting will not work. Try to turn imessage on but it will not. Entered name and password but just errors out. Same with FaceTime.

iPad mini Wi-Fi, iOS 9.2.1

Time for your to tell us a detailed story of exactly the steps you are taking - I stress DETAILED - with screenshots and/or verbatim error messages

As with any good story, don't leave anything out - we are not there to look over your shoulder so you must paint a picture with written words and pictures
