Apple Cinema Display (M9177LL/A) to PC
I have an old Apple Cinema Display (purchased 2005), Model M9177LL/A. Is there an adapter that I can connect this to a PC?
Thanks,
Sandy

The display uses DVI, but there is a Mini DisplayPort to DVI adapter connected now. What type of port does the PC use for displays?
If Mini DisplayPort, use the adapter now on the display. If DisplayPort, add a Mini DisplayPort to DisplayPort adapter. If DVI, remove the Mini DisplayPort to DVI adapter. If HDMI, add a HDMI to DVI adapter.
Plug the display's USB plug into one of the computer's USB ports.
Ignore the display's FireWire cable.
You may have trouble controlling the display brightness. It needs software on the computer.

Great, thank you! Port on PC is 15-pin.
If it's VGA

you need an expensive converter, such as
