Ever since the latest software update, my iTunes radio stations will not play; instead, the screen asking if I want to start a 3-month Apple Music trial comes up. I'm sure Apple music is great, but I really just want to use iTunes radio. I tried restarting the phone and still nothing works.

This is completely unacceptable even for Apple standards. Removing services that were included for free when I purchased the phone should be illegal. Shame on you Apple.
This is in no way illegal for Apple to stop providing a free service. Even for a paid service they can discontinue it at any time they wish. Apple could even decide that they are no longer going to give you 5GB of free iCloud storage and they are completely within their rights to do so. Just because you don't like it or agree with it doesn't make it illegal.
I was very disappointed with this too. But having been using Google Play Music (standard with ads) on my android, I now use the same Google Play Music on my iPhone as well.
So stupid. I should've just stuck to Pandora. Now I feel like an idiot for recommending it to friends who loved Pandora and switched.
