How to scan with hp laserjet m1120n MFP on OsX El Capitan?

I am able to print but I can't scan with my MFP printer. Should I get a new set of drivers?

If you can't get available scan drivers to work with the HP give VueScan a try. It supports nearly every scanner out there. If the standard version doesn't work try the 32 bit version. It can be used in the Demo mode before purchase.
