Hi all..
When displaying the number of files in a folder from a dialog do u need to set a variable ?
I tried the following :-
count file in the folder (choose folder)
display dialog "Today is: " & (current date) & ". " & "You have : " & {count file} & " files within this folder." with title "Useful Information"but the results always comes back as 4. regardless.
Seems it doesn't work.
example?
MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X Yosemite (10.10.5)
Here:

Thanks.... i was almost there.. 🙂 Seems Apple script is very picky.
