My Bluetooth doesn't repeat keystrokes.

FIrst of all, I am using iOS 9.1 on an iPod touch 6th gen.

My brookstone bluetooth folding keyboard (#849391) has an issue with my device. When I press and hold down a key, the keystroke doesn't repeat. Instead it only registers one keystroke and stops. I have the setting enabled in the settings app, so I'm not sure why this is a problem. The keyboard works fine otherwise, just doesn't repeat. Any suggestions? 😟

Hello arcini8,

I understand that your bluetooth keyboard isn't producing key repeats as you would expect. In such a situation, the steps outlined below may help restore full functionality to your bluetooth keyboard when using it with your iPod touch.

  1. Restart your Bluetooth accessory.
  2. Make sure that you have the latest version of iOS on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.
  3. Unpair the Bluetooth accessory, put the accessory back in discovery mode, then pair and connect itagain.
