Thanks for using the Apple Support Communities!
I understand that the screen on your iPhone is not responding to touch the way you would expect. I also know that you have completed some great troubleshooting already by restoring the iPhone to its factory settings.
To move forward, I would suggest reading over and working through the steps located in the following article to be thorough. If the issue continues, it may be necessary to contact Apple Support as described in the article.
Check your touchscreen
Make sure that your hands are clean and dry, then try these steps:
- If you have a case or screen protector on your device, try removing it.
- Clean the screen with a soft, slightly damp, lint-free cloth.
- Unplug your device.
- Restart your device. If you can't restart it, you can force restart your device.
If your touchscreen still doesn't respond like it should, contact Apple Support or take your device to an Apple Retail Store or Apple Authorized Service Provider.
If the screen on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch doesn't respond to touch - Apple Support
Best!
