How can I make more lines visible in Calendar month view

At the moment on OS 10.11.3 on Macbook Pro I get to see 5 lines / entries per day on Month View in Calendar. I was hoping there is a way to increase this to say 7 or 8 lines and avoid the " 2 more" . The more lines would mean getting the full month on screen would be harder but at the moment I have at least I week more than i need.

Hello Ewen Wilson,

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.

It looks like you want to view more of your events in the Calendar application while in the month view. The number of events you see per day depends on the size of the Calendar window itself. The longer the window, the more lines/events you will be able to see. You can either manually resize the length of the window, or maximize the size of it:

Manually resize a window: Drag the window’s edges (top, bottom, and sides).

Maximize a window: Hold down the Option key while you click the green maximize button User uploaded file in the top-left corner of an app window. To return to the previous window size, Option-click the button again.

You can also double-click an app’s title bar to maximize the window (as long as the option to do so is set to “zoom” in Dock preferences).

Cheers.
