Adding MIDI loops to loop browser

I recently purchased some loops from The Looploft and Platinum loops. Some were audio and the rest MIDI. The audio loops added fine. The MIDI however will not show up in the loop browser when added. Is there a procedure I have to follow? I just dragged them into the loop browser from the folder I copied into my home folder. Logic did its spinning wheel thing for a while, but never added the loops.

1) Midi Apple Loops (The green ones) are not the same as plain old Midi Loops.... so adding plain Midi Loops to the Apple Loop Browser will not work...and therefore will not show in the loop browser. Plain midi loops can be simply dragged into the arrange window from either Finder or the File Browser in Logic.

2) To create an Midi Apple Loop.. (The green type) so you can add it to the Loops browser... You must create a midi region... with software instruments etc.. select that region and then right or Control left... click on it to bring up the popup menu... and choose Export>Add to Loop Library and fill out the relevant details in the next dialog box...

Note: Cant find the Export function? Turn on ALL the Advanced Tools in Logic's Preferences...
