MacBook El Capitan: 64-bit or 32-bit?

I've been trying to find out if my MacBook Pro is 64-bit or 32-bit, but all the information I've been getting seems to only pertain to Macs from 2011 or earlier--they all happen to say, "Go to 'About this Mac' and then click on 'More Information' ", and when I go to "About this Mac", there is no "More Information". So how does one find out if their MacBook Pro from late 2013 that has been updated to OS El Capitan is 64-bit or 32-bit?

MacBook Pro, OS X El Capitan (10.11.2)

In OS X versions later than 10.6.8 Snow Leopard, the "more info" button that had been

in the About this Mac details pane once the menu bar item is launched, from OS X 10.7

to present, would be known as System Information. That is a utility that also would be

available from GO in the main Finder window menu bar, if you choose Utilities, there.

Your computer model (both 13-inch and 15-inch) have 64-bit architecture according

to several sources including MacTracker database application. Identification numbers

can help to locate more detailed specs for specific models; re: MacBookPro11.1, etc

• How to identify MacBook Pro models - Apple Support

The hardware information and software information is in the System Information utility.

In older systems, the 'more info' button that was present, launched System Profiler.

MacbookPro models from 2007 forward (if not all after 2007) have 64-bit architecture.

The earliest models can only be upgraded past Snow Leopard 10.6.8 to Lion 10.7.5.

Site such as everymac.com, can be helpful for specifications; if your Mac is identified

correctly; since there are similar models with different build year model specifications.

For some information I have downloaded the free http://mactracker.ca application.

Good luck in this matter! 🙂
