Have this problem since this morning. Suggestions appear but after tapping one there is only a blank page. No matter what you search.

Thanks. It seems to be an issue regarding Apple servers. However, I spoke to the Apple analyst earlier today and he claimed that Apple Music works just fine on his iOS device... hope they will fix it promptly, otherwise goodbye Apple Music, welcome Spotify.
11.30 AM CET and the problem is still here (at least on iPhone 6 iOS 9.2.1). Without the ability to search Apple Music is quite useless...
I'm having the same issue with my iPhone 6 Plus running iOS 9.2.1. A Google search on the issue brought me here.
Same issue on iPad mini 2 and iPhone 5 With Apple Music France.

I managed to solve it after one hour on the phone with Apple for another Apple Music related problem that was not able to be solved. My solution: uncheck the automatic renewal of the account and get Spotify ( or any other music streaming service)

Guys, Apple Music search bar is working fine since last night. It seems that Apple fixed this. At least in my case (Poland).
I Just read an article online that suggested clearing Safari cache. Settings/Safari/clear history and website data.
THe he site went onto explain that the bug was to do with safe website data that was upgraded since 26th Jan.
IT sounded a bit daft to me but I had nothing to loose.
FOllowed instructions, force quitted Music ap. Opened it again and voila! Music searching for the first time in 24 hours.
DEfinitely worth a try if you are having this problem.
