Q: How to change Mail as default instead of thunderbird?
Hi,
as this is my first post to this community first of all: Hello!
My problem is that i have two mail programs installed, mail and thunderbird. pgp-encryption did not work properly on my old mac with apple mail so i used thunderbird. After buying a new mac 2 weeks ago with El Capitan running i kept this setup (just installed the time machine backup) and everything seemed fine.
But:
Now where i tried to send a picture from "Photos" via email (Send-button top right) i find everything from messages, airdrop and so on - but no mail.
Okay, maybe it's because of thunderbird, so i changed in apple mail settings apple mail as default client. That didn't change anything, so i checked the settings again and it still is thunderbird. I tried several times but always the same.
So how can I make apple mail my default mail client so that the mail-option shows up in the photo-app?
Without uninstalling thunderbird would be nice-
Many thanks in advance for your help,
Rosa
