Full Screen Video - Cursor doesn't Disappear

Hey all,

Just got my first Macbook Pro (2015), and having some issues.

On my Windows 10 PC, when you go into full screen on youtube or netflix the cursor would disappear shortly after, provided you did not move the mouse.

On my Macbook, the cursor remains. As you can imagine, it is annoying. I've figured out a way to make it disappear - fn + f8 - but honestly the cursor should disappear automatically.

Can anyone assist?
