Q: Slow Restart - El Capitan

After the recent update restart on my MBP Retina 13" mid 2014 takes longer if restarting. You don't see the circle on restart, just black screen. I initially thought it I shut down but took 1minute to restart. I reinstalled the OSX from scratch but still happens so I know it is the OSX. Anyone else experiencing slower restart. Once logged in, works fine.

First make sure that System Preferences -> Startup Disk has your boot disk selected. You may need to unlock the padlock in the lower left corner first.

if FV is enabled you may try turning it off as a test. If no difference is noticed re-enable it.
Use FileVault to encrypt the startup disk on your Mac - Apple Support
