Organizing Dashboard Widgets

I've collected numerous widgets many of which I find very useful as quick reference. However, the dashboard has limited space (the screen size) and becomes easily overwhelmed and cluttered. Is there any way to organize widgets placed on the dashboard bar? Having to sift through all the widgets really reduces the usefulness of the dashboard. Or is there anyway to establish more than one dashboard in order to view less widgets on any one dashboard? Thanks.

I too am tired of scrolling through all the widgets on the widget bar to get to the one I want. I want the most commonly used widgets to appear on the first "page" of the bar.

I looked at the widgets and they're in alphabetical order. One way to reorder them is to rename the widgets alphabetically in the order you want them to appear. The widgets are found in two places:

User installed widgets are in ~/Library/Widgets/

System wide widgets are in /Library/Widgets/

Also, if you open the Widget Manager you can uncheck the widgets you never use. I've done this to reduce the number I have to scroll through.

Hope this helps.
