So I was logged out of Facebook and to log back in it says that I have malware or a virus and must complete a scan first. Is this BS or should I worry that my machine has a virus or malware? I'm not the most computer savvy and buy macs because I don't encounter this type of problem. All my research says that as a mac user I should not worry about it.

I'm using a Late 2014 Macbook Air 13" running Yosemite 10.10.5

It was a real Facebook site. It hit me on my phone as well. I checked the URL and it was Facebook. It did not ask me to download anything. It won't let me share any links from other websites or other apps on both my macbook air and my iPhone.

I logged in and it asked me to verify that I've run a virus scan. I said yes, because I had. My profile is active, but I still can't post links or share things. It's getting in the way of businesses as I use social media to drive traffic to my website. Any other thoughts or advice?
