google chrome no longer supporting Mac OS X 10.6.8

I have a Mac OS X 10.6.8 Google Chrome sent a message that it will no longer send security updates to this computer. Is there another browser I should switch to?

Mac Pro, iOS 5.1.1

You can still use and update Mozilla Firefox until sometime in upcoming late August (last fully updated vers. 48.0.2) when support for 10.6-10.8 will end and either stretch out using the last full updated version until the end of this year.

OR

Look at SeaMonkey.

OR

Mozilla will keep issuing security updates for Firefox in the form of their Firefox ESR web browser program, vers. 45) until around April 2017.

Mozilla will issues ESR (security) updates to OS X10.6-10.8 for the version 45 of Firefox, but no new feature updates.

Also, there are continuing rumors that Google is ending support for GMail on older versions of OS X Mail (10.6-10.8), so you use GMail, may need to search for a new Mail client for OS X Snow Leopard.

Suggest using the email client in SeaMonkey

OR

Mozilla Thunderbird which is still being supported on OS X Snow Leopard and newer versions of OS X.

Good Luck!
