iBooks losing bookmarks

Hi,

I am having an issue with iBooks. Whenever I switch to a different app and then back to iBooks I lose all of my bookmarks.

I then have to flick through the pages of the book until I pass a bookmark and they then reappear and I can get on with my reading.

This isn't the end of the world however I am finding it increasingly frustrating.

Any advice out there from anyone to stop my bookmarks disappearing?
