Q: How do you access the 5 gigs of free iCloud space?

The phone keeps giving me a message saying I've used up my 5 gigabytes of iCloud space but when I log into iCloud it is empty.  Where is this "alleged" 5 gigs of content when I log into iCloud?

Mac Pro, Mac OS X (10.7.4), 3.33 GHz 6-core, 16 GB RAM, ATI5870

One possibility is that the space is occupied by backups of one or more iOS devices (iPhones/iPads/iPod Touch). While they take space on iCloud they aren't visible when logging in to https://www.icloud.com/ and can only be used to do a full restore of one of those devices. The following has instructions on how you view how much space they are occupying and how you can delete them if desired. Manage your iCloud storage - Apple Support

When you log into iCloud where? Using a web browser on a computer? Look on your device in Settings>General>Storage & iCloud Storage>iCloud to see if anything is showing in iCloud storage.

It would be hard to imagine that you have no storage in iCloud at all unless you do not use iCloud. In that case getting that message would make no sense at all and would seem highly unlikely for it to occur,
