Q: Error when trying to watch two apps

Hello,

We have tried to watch two apps that we have watched since owning apple tv. One is HGTV and the other is the food network. The last time we watched them was last night. When we tried to go into either of them tonight we are getting the same error... Error Launching Application. The operation couldn't be completed. (TVMLKitErrorDomain error 3.) We have restarted the device, downloaded updates and uninstalled and reinstalled the apps after each step. This still occurs. I have searched the Internet and it keeps taking me to how to code; which I shouldnt have to code my own apple device.

Any help or knowledge of where to look would be appreciated.

Thank you.

I have had the same problem and I deleted and reloaded the app and restarted my Apple TV and this did not work. So once again I deleted the HGTV app on my Apple TV and did not reinstall it.Then I went into my computer and opened iTunes. I went to the "My Apps" tab and found the "Watch HGTV" app and deleted it (emptied the trash). I went back to my Apple TV and went to the App Store on my Apple TV and searched for HGTV. On my Apple TV I now had two choices of "Watch HGTV". I chose the one on the left and installed. After the install it opened right up. This may not work for your Apple TV but it worked for me so it might be worth a try for you. I just wanted to share the fix that worked for me. Good luck.

well. It's not Apples issue. You can continue to vent your frustration in a user forum and nothing will happen. Or you can contact the content providers and something could happen. Your choice, doesn't really matter to me. I have not had any issues with the new ATV and have been very happy with the upgrade since launch day in November. Sorry your experience has not been the same. But just like with iOS, or Android or fire tv, or Roku the content owner is responsible for supporting the apps themselves not the device manufacturer...

Updated iTunes on my computer, went back on to appletv and tried to install the apps again. They now work. Very excited.
